When everything else is gone - all we have is prayer
I write and develope music for the Worship of God.
Ray has two children - Shaun and Jenny and 4 Grandchildren. He recently lost his wife of 40 years to cancer.
Ray has been writing music for the past 40 years, and has written 10 praise and worship songs.
Story behind the song
I once asked a Bishop from South Africa what he thought was the one major difference in the CHristian culture between his country and ours. He did not even hesitate. Faith and prayer was his answer. We in the United States have access to doctors, hospitals, banks, and insurance - so that when an emergency arises, we head to the doctors, hospitals, etc first, then we turn to God - when all of our resources have been exhausted. In South Africa they do not have the resources available, so they turn to God first!!
