Story behind the song
From Losfer Words' 2001 album, Enlighten, which features rock music with Christian themed lyrics. The albums artwork depicts a representation of the Tree of Life from the Garden of Eden. The albums featured track, The Narrow Gate, has lyrics that were inspired by John 14:1-7 (NKJV): Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. And the songs title comes from Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV): Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
